Golfers Second in Region Six, Heading to State

From the Athletics Office:

“Congratulations to head coach Mike Brumfield, moderator Chris Toth, this year’s coaches and players and the entire Trinity golf family.

“…the golf Rocks qualified for the KHSAA state golf tournament in Bowling Green for the second time in the last three years by finishing second in the Region (Six) golf tourney at Seneca Golf Course.

“In addition, Trinity freshman Hudson Hummel finished as the overall individual region runner-up after shooting a 71 in tournament play and tying for the championship, before playing very competitive golf over four playoff holes.

“The golf Rocks headed to Bowling Green for state are senior Mike Blair, senior Kyle Davis, sophomore Evan Bone, freshman J.M. Butler (75) and Hummel.  The entire Trinity golf team roster can be found at www.trinityrocks.com.
