ECHO staffers win awards in WKU contest; Lococo Adviser of the Year ECHO print journalists Tevin Johnson-Campion, John Cerjak and Jake Smith won awards in the Western Kentucky University Mark of Excellence journalism competition. * Johnson-Campion earned Second Place in the Columns/Reviews category. * Cerjak won Third Place in the Best News Writer category. * Smith won two awards, Second Place in Sports Writing and Third Place in Sports Photography. * During the ceremony teacher Mr. Tony Lococo received the James L. Highland Adviser of the Year Award. Math Rocks finish with five in top 10 The Trinity math team finished its Greater Louisville Math League season with a number of top 10 results. * For the freshmen, Jacob Kalbfleisch made a comeback and moved into fourth place. * Among sophomores, Chris Collins finished in second while Will Paris placed sixth. * Among juniors, Jack Feger finished in fourth while Nick Finney placed ninth. Mr. Peter Diehl, team coach, congratulated “all of our mathletes for a fantastic year.”
