Second in Region 6 Leaves Golf Rocks State Bound

The Rocks placed second in the Region 6 tournament, qualifying for the state tourney for the first time since 2007.

The Trinity golf Rocks took the next step in writing their own chapter in the record books as their finish in the Region 6 tournament booked them a trip to the state tournament in Bowling Green for the first time in seven years.

The Rocks are bound for Bowling Green after holding off North Oldham by 4 strokes to continue their mission of bringing home a state championship to Trinity (294).   St. Xavier’s 276 placed first.

Senior James Inman finished sixth overall with a 71, senior Zach Mattingly shot a 72, and senior Jake Mattingly a 74; junior Ryan Murr scored a 77 and senior Grant Hummel a 79.
