Trinity teacher Mr. John Kahl was honored Friday night by Kosair

Children’s Hospital for his work with Jarrett’s Joy Cart.

For 11 years Kahl has spearheaded collections of toys for Jarrett’s Joy Cart, named after Jarrett Mynear, who while suffering from cancer worked to cheer up other patients by delivering gifts to them.

Kahl has coordinated the collection of more than 10,000 toys for Jarrett’s Joy Cart.
