Track and Field

Trinity won the regional meet yesterday at Assumption the Green.  The team qualified state participants in the following events:

* two qualifiers in the shot and the discuss

* 4×800, 4×200 and 4×100 relay teams

* 110 high hurdles

*400, the 800 and the 3200

* pole vault

Congratulations to head coach Mike Magre, the entire coaching staff and to the track and field Rocks for an impressive showing in the regional.

Rugby

Trinity defeated Iroquois High School yesterday 10-7 in the state semifinal match.

* The Rocks advance to the state championship match May 16 to against St. Xavier at St. X at 11:30 a.m.
