Owen McMasters H’16 passed away yesterday afternoon. Owen attended Trinity as a freshman as a member of the Class of 2017.  He later withdrew from Trinity to wage his battle against leukemia.  Owen was named an honorary alumnus last week, and Trinity Principal Dan Zoeller reported that “his friends are currently raising money to update and rename a video game room at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Owen’s name.”

Visitation will be at Ratterman’s in Middletown (Wed., 5-9 p.m., and Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon). The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at St Aloysius, Pewee Valley.

Burial will be at St Bernard Cemetery, Clementsville, Ky., on Friday morning.

Eternal rest, grant unto Owen, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
