The Rocks had an awesome showing with three bowlers in the 200 Club as Trinity took on a powerful Pleasure Ridge Park team at Dixie Bowl on Nov. 9.  Sophomore Jon Coleman bowled a 202, senior Caleb Darby bowled a 207, and senior Noah Hall blew away the competition with a 247 in the first game and a perfect 300 in the second.

Hall received a 300 Club shirt from the alley. He is one of only two Trinity bowlers to bowl a 300 in a season match. The last perfect score was bowled by Joey Cecil in 2006.

Coach John McCarthy said, “In high school bowling, there might be two or three perfect scores each year. Noah’s 300 is an amazing feat.”The Rocks lost the series 2-5 with a score of 2,456-2,555.

“The varsity team keeps getting better and better with each match. We are focusing on regionals and making the trip back to state in February,” coach Lee Lamoureaux said.

The team heads to Fern Valley Strike and Spare on Nov. 12 for the St. X Kickoff Classic.
