More than 700 students from around the country, along with coaches and others, spent May 27 at Trinity competing in the National Catholic Forensic League Grand National Championship preliminary rounds. They were among more than 4,000 students in Louisville taking part in weekend competition.

Two Trinity students, Jacob Romines and Cooper Winrich, qualified for the NCFLGNC.  They were coached by speech and debate coaches Ms. Amy Zuccaro and Mr. Randy Perkins, who along with the Rocks’ speech and debate team coordinated the rounds held on Trinity’s campus.

Zuccaro expressed appreciation for the tremendous effort provided by the Trinity community to make the day run smoothly.
