Four Years Worth Remembering

“Time flies when you’re having a good time.”

High school can be fun and exhilarating, but it’s all in what you make it. Trinity has made a four-year experience something that will last a lifetime.

High school can be scary for someone who has no clue what is going to happen, but feeling comfortable and safe is half the battle. We have all heard from parents or relatives that high school flies, but it isn’t realized by students until one day it hits them out of nowhere, and they’re sitting in a classroom senior year with a running clock.

Senior Jack Wessling came into Trinity expecting to “find myself spiritually faith based and college ready. I got what I expected and some.”

When seniors look back at their four-year experience, most won’t necessarily remember all the tests or homework.

”You will remember the great nights at sporting events and hanging out with your brothers,” senior Ben Skaggs said.

Very often high school students get caught up in the projects, homework, and stress of school, but there are so many things to help balance them.

Skaggs, captain of the ice hockey team, is in advanced classes. He said, “Hockey is my getaway.”

No matter where life takes you after you leave the doors of Trinity, you will always have the college prep and the knowledge that Trinity has provided you.

Transforming from a young man into a young adult takes time and effort, but if you are willing to put in the work to make it to the next step after high school, then you will find yourself looking back on your four years and wishing you could go back and relive the moments that have passed too quickly.
