August 17, 2018
A few showers could not dampen the enthusiasm as the Class of 2022 committed to excellence at the sixth annual Freshman Class Academic Convocation. Senior James Ewing was among those who addressed the assembly, held in Steinhauser Gymnasium Aug. 16.
Various facets of the school were represented, and students and parents took part in a book signing, introduced by Mr. James Torra, director of admissions. Dr. Rob Mullen, school president, and Mr. Dan Zoeller, Trinity principal, also offered encouragement and advice to the students.

Greg Larkin’s grandson Owen ? is a member of the class of 2022. Owen, his parents, and grandparents are so excited about everything about Trinity. Owen is on the cross country team and just loves it. By the way, his grandfather Greg Larkin ’59 was on Trinity’s first state championship team in any sport. Greg was also the captain of the 1958 team which also won the state cross country championship. Greg was the Regional 440 champion in 1958. He set Regional and Trinity records at the meet which was held on Bellarmine’s old cinder track. I’m sorry I cannot remember Owen’s surname, but there can’t be too many Owens in the freshman class.
