Ten Trinity seniors were named Semifinalists in the 2019 National Merit Corporation Scolarship Competition, scoring in the top one percent of those who took the  Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. The students who earned the distinction were Michael Chou, Bryce Thompson, John Fernandez, Hunter Ruckriegel, Jackson McClellan, Aden Yeager, Gavin Weakley, John McCalpin, Nicholas Huls and Logan Thomas.
