Class of 1965 alums met at The Henry Clay on Oct. 15.

What do “Wooly Bully” by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, Go-Go boots, the NFL champion Green Bay Packers, and Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonair have in common?

They were all parts of the year Trinity’s Class of 1965 graduated!  Members of the Class of ’65 gathered at The Henry Clay on Oct. 15 for their 55th Reunion Rewind (postponed from 2020).

Imagine that you look back to 1965. What will you find? You would find: “I Feel Fine” by The Beatles, which came out on Jan. 15, 1965, the space race and the cold war against the USSR, and within Louisville, you would find the ninth graduating class of Trinity seniors.

There was a good turnout at The Henry Clay on Oct. 15, and many of the graduates had their yearbooks with them.  The event included a band and a slideshow of photos from their time at Trinity.

Trinity’s Alumni Relations is headed by Mr. Travis Wagoner ’90, and Ms. Carrie Joy is Alumni Events Coordinator.

One of Joy’s favorite things about Trinity is “the people I get to work with and people I get to meet. I love working in Alumni Relations. I get to meet a wide variety of people, and some of our older alumni are my favorites. They are very interesting and have a lot of stories to tell.”
