The Trinity varsity basketball team reached the 7th Region finals against a tough Male team.  The Bulldogs edged the Rocks 67-65 in a double-overtime game played before a sold-out crowd at Bellarmine University’s Knights Hall on Mar. 7.

According to the Athletics Office, “the game was highly competitive with 13 lead changes and each team going on a 10-0 run at some point in the game.”  Trinity ended with a 24-8 record.

The team, led by head coach Mike Szabo (reached the 500-win milestone), will graduate five seniors: Michael Long, Cam McClain, David Pfeiffer, Matt Toller and C.J. Walls.
