Congratulations to Trinity High School’s KYA delegation for another fantastic conference. Under the leadership of Chaz Kapfhammer (club president) and sophomore Max Corbett, Trinity’s KYA delegation won once again the award of “Premier Delegation”. This honor is giving to delegations that achieve a level of esteemed notoriety and accomplishment.
Congratulations to Trinity’s bill writers who presented four amazing bills. Three of them passed the House and the Senate, and two of them were passed in two laws.
- CW22 Sponsor: Carson Song . “An Act Relating to Regulation of per – and Polyflouroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals in bottled drinking water.” This bill was passed into law and was awarded “The High Ranked Bill” by the Governor.
- CW23 Sponsors: Jason Bui, Paul Nguyen, Hayden Deitz, Shane Denham. “An Act relating to Life Skills course Requirement in High School.” This bill passed the House and the Senate.
- BG23 Sponsors: Evan Klein, Ben Merrick, Isaac Bowling, Henry Mitchell. “An Act Relating to Mountaintop Removal.” This bill was passed into law by the governor.
