Vickie Pennington is finishing her final year being a nurse at Trinity High School. While she has enjoyed being a nurse at Trinity for seven years, she told the ECHO that it is time for a new chapter. Pennington has done so much for Trinity, but one of the main things students could find her doing is taking care of both teachers and students when they are injured or sick. Pennington clearly chose the right career path, as she said that “working with the students and talking to them” is her favorite part of the job.
Pennington says it was never planned for her to work at Trinity, but after being a nurse, she knew she would be fit for the job. After retirement, Pennington plans to volunteer more at her church and travel more. She also talked about even doing some PRN nursing after retirement.
Pennington is loved by many at Trinity and will be missed by everyone when she retires after this school year. She has impacted many people in many ways and will continue to do so throughout her life.
