Mr. Thomas Cave is another new face students have seen around the halls of Trinity this year. Trinity’s new business teacher and member of Gonzaga House, has been all about business since the age of 14, crediting this early interest as his motivation for teaching the subject. “I’ve been in various positions throughout the business world, and when I saw that Trinity was looking for a business teacher to teach financial literacy and business law, it really interested me, and I wanted to help out.” Cave attended Bellarmine University, where he earned a degree in business administration.
During COVID, Cave launched his own company, providing coaching to runners across the country. “There was a need for online coaching because a lot of kids couldn’t go to school practice,” Cave explained. “My friend and I started sending training plans to high school athletes and adults training for events like the Boston Marathon. We still do a bit of that today.”
A graduate of Saint Xavier High School, Cave shared his views on the Trinity environment and his impressions after his first few months. “The thing that’s really stood out to me is how kind everyone is. You can tell that we’re all on the same team, working to make Trinity a special place.”
Even before teaching at Trinity, Cave was involved with both Trinity’s Cross Country and Track programs, both of which he speaks about with high regard. He encourages students to consider joining, saying, “If there’s ever a student looking to try something new, I’d recommend trying out for the cross country team.”
Between his passion for business and his appreciation for Trinity’s athletics, there’s no doubt that Cave will fit right into the school’s family-like community.

Mr. Cave has been a great addition to Trinity’s culture. Thanks for a good article highlighting why.
