The novice Public Forum Shamrocks competed Saturday, November 23rd, in the Wyatt Debate League tournament. Claiming honors for the Rocks were freshmen Owen Tafel and Ryan Huber who won Novice Public Forum debate, going undefeated in all seven rounds.
The Shamrocks also claimed top speaker awards with freshman Charlie Ellingsworth in fourth, Tafel in second, and Huber in first.
Ellingsworth and his partner freshman Chase Wissing earned membership to the National Speech and Debate Association, a national honors society for Speech and Debate students, with their performances.
