The winter break and snow haven’t stopped the Speech Rocks from continuing to shine.
Freshman Conor McCaffrey placed in the top three in Original Oratory in the Blyton Novice Invitational before the break. This past weekend, the upperclassmen claimed top honors in the Hear Us Roar Invitational hosted virtually by Bullitt Central. The tournament hosted 26 schools from eight different states.
Senior Ian Beierle placed seventh in Extemporaneous Speaking and seventh in Impromptu Speaking. Senior Hayden Deitz place third in Extemporaneous Speaking, and junior Akhil Mariyappa placed fourth in Impromptu Speaking.
