This weekend the Speech Rocks competed in the Derby Regional tournament. All four Rocks competing earned bids to state in March.
Qualifying to state:
Freshman Conor McCaffrey in Original Oratory
Junior Liam Wahl in Impromptu Speaking
Senior Ian Beierle in Extemporaneous Speaking and Impromptu Speaking
Senior Hayden Deitz in Extemporaneous Speaking and Impromptu Speaking
Dietz was also named regional runner-up in both events.
