Getting to Know Mr. Noe

One of the most important aspects of any high school is how it manages its technology. At Trinity, one of the key staff members overseeing this element is Mr. Jeff Noe. In addition to teaching Computer-Aided Design (CAD), he serves as the school’s Database Administrator. In this role, he ensures that Trinity’s technology systems run smoothly and meet the needs of students and staff.

Mr. Noe’s responsibilities include managing applications like Rockspace and PowerSchool while also ensuring that grades, emails, and other important data are properly stored and accessible. He enjoys his work, especially the opportunity to help students improve their technology skills—a crucial element in today’s world.

But was education always his career path? Not exactly. Before joining Trinity, Mr. Noe spent 18 years in the healthcare industry as a director. Eventually, he decided to leave due to burnout. His transition to Trinity happened when the school was hiring in the IT department. During his interview with then-staff member Michael Price, Mr. Noe faced technical questions he wasn’t fully prepared for. However, Price was impressed by his willingness to be “comfortable being uncomfortable” and saw potential in him.

Mr. Noe attended the University of Louisville for five years, and today, he has been a dedicated member of Trinity High School for 20 years, playing a crucial role in both its technology infrastructure and students’ education.
