Trinity Class of 2029 Begins Their House Journey

Trinity Class of 2029 Begins Their House Journey

On Sunday, April 27, Trinity hosted the incoming freshmen for their House Sorting Day. The students participated in games on the football field and team-building exercises. The main event—the house assignments—took place in Shamrock Hall, after which each house moved to individual classrooms to learn more about their respective communities. Meanwhile, parents gathered in Convocation Hall to learn about the Trinity House System from incoming student body president Max Corbett. Corbett shared how much he has enjoyed the House System and how it has helped him form strong connections.

The day culminated in an obstacle course featuring challenges such as a pie-eating contest, balancing a tray of glasses, and a final sprint. Toussaint House took the crown, with Patrick and Flannan Houses close behind. Students walked away with lessons in leadership, teamwork, and a spirit of willingness. Sunday offered a glimpse of what the next four years could hold for the Class of 2029.
