Leading with Purpose: Max Corbett Elected Senior Class President for 2025–2026

The 2024–2025 school year is quickly coming to an end and graduation is approaching quickly. This means student leadership will be transferring to a new group of students. One of the new Trinity student leaders is Max Corbett who was elected as the next senior class president.

Corbett is well known around Trinity. He is a man moral character and faith, embodying the true essence of a Trinity brother in both principle and practice. Those who have had the privilege of knowing him recognize his dedication to these values, which guide his actions and define his character.

How did Corbett get to this point? “I went to St. Albert from kindergarten through eighth grade. It was a great place for me and helped me prepare for Trinity perfectly.” Corbett has not always been sure where his educational journey would lead. “I’m not sure. I’ve always been a pretty aspirational person, so I don’t think I ever intended not to run for something like class president, but winning is a great honor for me.”

Going into this role, Corbett is experiencing a mix of emotions. As of now, he is looking forward to this new chapter in his life and is ready to take on any challenges he may face as the 2025–2026 senior class president. “It’s really exciting! I wanted to represent my classmates, and I’m excited to be able to do that over the next year or so. I love Trinity, and it’s a great way for me to give back. I also love public speaking, so it’ll give me some great chances to practice that.”

Corbett has been involved in a wide range of activities since his freshman year, including participating in the Argentinian Exchange Program, being elected co-president of KUNA on Mar. 12, 2024, receiving the YMCA Youth Charter Award on Oct. 28, 2024, and being elected KYA Governor on Nov. 2, 2024.

The election of Max Corbett as senior class president of Trinity High School signifies an exciting new chapter for both him and the school community. His moral principles, faith, and commitment to leadership have prepared him well to advocate for and support his brothers in the upcoming year. Corbett’s involvement in numerous programs and leadership roles has already showcased his pledge to make a meaningful difference. As he steps into this new position, his excitement, determination, and passion for public speaking will surely shape his approach to leading the senior class. The Trinity community can look forward to a year of strong leadership, growth, and unity under Corbett’s direction.
