At Trinity High School, every school year brings new changes. This year, we have seen the addition of a new Director of Admissions on campus. Mr. Chris Kircher, a 2003 Trinity graduate, has assumed the role. Kircher is extremely excited about his new position and how it will lead to more interaction with students, faculty, and families.
Kircher previously had an interest in working in higher education while at Bellarmine but ultimately decided that the world of admissions and recruitment was the right fit for him.
“I think being able to connect with families and students and being able to help guide them in terms of the next steps of their education, whether that be at the college or high school level, is what drives me,” he said when asked what interested him about the world of recruitment and enrollment.
His new position entails recruiting new students and retaining current ones. It also includes the marketing and social media components, such as Trinity’s website and social media communications.
It’s clear Mr. Kircher is suited for the job as his enthusiasm is palpable. “The community and the people that are here make it what we are and who we are,”
Kircher also offered guidance for both ends of the student spectrum. To incoming freshmen, he recommends embracing every opportunity and building relationships with teachers and peers. For outgoing seniors, Kircher said, “Be bold. Take on new challenges head on. Remember the people who helped you get to where you are; be thankful for them and pay it forward from there.”
With his enthusiasm, experience, and commitment to Trinity, Mr. Kircher is already making a positive impact on campus and is poised to strengthen the school’s admissions and enrollment efforts for years to come.
