Green Cross Club sets up shop at Wayside Christian Mission
Trinity teacher Mr. Mike Budniak H’11 led 12 students and faculty on the Green Cross Club’s annual visit to Wayside Mission to set up a “Christmas store.” The Trinity group visited Wayside Mission on Monday, Dec. 16, from 3 p.m. until approximately 6 p.m.
“The main focus of the store is toys and gifts for kids,” Budniak said. “They are donated by stores and church groups from all over the city, and I believe almost 2,000 people came through the store last year.”
Clothes, toiletries, blankets and food were also available at the Wayside store. The Green Cross Club is a community service club at Trinity.
