Louisville, Ky. – Trinity High School seniors Nick Eckert and Brady Pfaadt signed national letters of intent to participate in collegiate athletics at a ceremony held May 8 at Trinity High School.
Nick Eckert (cross country/track) signed with Lee University. “Nick is more than just a runner or a student,” Trinity cross country head coach Chad Waggoner said. “Nick is an amazing young man who holds a strong work ethic, determination of success and compassion for those in need, which has allowed him to be more than one of the top-ranked students in the senior class or an elite runner. Nick is a man who leads his peers in both the classroom and in the locker room by being a definition of a servant leader. It is a huge gain for the students, coaches, professors and administrators at Lee University to have Nick commit to the school.”
Brady Pfaadt (baseball) signed with Bellarmine University. “I’m really happy for Brady,” head coach Steven Tompkins said. “He has worked hard his four years here at Trinity, and for him to have this opportunity to play at the next level is exciting. Brady has been a leader for our baseball team both on and off the field, and I am looking forward to following his career at the collegiate level. Bellarmine is getting an outstanding young man and a great athlete in Brady Pfaadt.”
