TTV Broadcast Team Brings Home Seven KHSJA Contest Awards

Winning six category awards, Trinity’s Broadcast Journalism staff also brought home the General Excellence Third Place trophy in Broadcasting from the Kentucky High School Journalism Association Contest.

The staff, led by Mr. Adam Klein, won firsts in the Newsmagazine (staff), Best News Feature (Ryan Trefes),  and News Package (Justin Karem, Nathan Schmitt) categories; second place in VO or VO/SOT (Noah Ball); and thirds in News Package (Ryan Trefes, Robert Espinueva) and Videography (Ryan Trefes).

Drone! This exceptionally well-crafted story could have aired on local television! This mix of extraordinary shots — all well framed and focused — creates a stirring story of giving. This category was tough to judge. There were many awesome entries.
