The cross country Rocks topped all Kentucky teams in the Trinity/Valkyrie Invitational Sept. 20.  Senior Evan Lang led the Rocks to finish tops in Kentucky, fourth in the South and 10th overall, in the meet that saw at least five teams that will likely compete at Nike Team Nationals in December.

The JV finished 10th, led by sophomore Max Turnier. Freshman Trevor Warren unleashed a kick at the finish to lead the freshmen to fifth place.

Head coach Chad Waggoner said, “Thank you to all of those that supported the Running Rocks by attending the record-breaking 59th Trinity Invitational. We hosted 4,600 athletes from seven different states on Friday and Saturday. Trinity’s faculty and staff continue to make me so very honored to be a part of this special place. Whether you were with drum line, a super fan, or a volunteer for the races, we are so very thankful!”
