The Trinity fishing team finished with five teams in the top 10, including a sweep of the top three spots, in the Tates Creek Invitational at Taylorsville Lake Oct. 11.

The team of Jake Sedgwick and Grant Simmons, with a bag of 5.27 pounds, finished in first place and added big fish honors. Second place went to Brendan Bingham and Clay Evans (4.37 pounds). The third-place trophies went to Andrew Kuebler and Andrew Meckle (3.57 pounds).

Trinity teacher Mr. Mike Chancellor coaches the team.
