The champion football Rocks were honored at an assembly Dec. 11.

A very busy few days before semester exams included the following:

* Last Thursday’s recognition assembly for the champion football Rocks

* Friday’s 60-49 basketball victory over defending state champ Covington Catholic

* Saturday’s placement test, which included strong numbers for the Class of 2019

* Saturday’s Christmas concert, which included the chorus, jazz ensemble and handbells ensemble — and the special appearance of Santa, courtesy of Mr. Joe Henning
