ECHO Adviser Inducted into Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame

Trinity teacher Mr. Tony Lococo, adviser for the ECHO and Shamrock, was inducted into the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame on Apr. 19 at the University of Kentucky.  Lococo, who has worked with Trinity journalism for 33 years, is the first high school educator to be selected for the Hall.

Other inductees were Lexington Herald-Leader columnist Tom Eblen; former Kentucky Post reporter Bill Straub; former Anderson County News editor Don White; Owensboro native Mike Edgerly (broadcast journalist with Minnesota Public Radio); Chuck and Donna Stinnett (The Gleaner in Henderson).

Inducted posthumously were Courier-Journal sportswriter Jim Bolus and Louisville native Angelo Henderson (Wall Street Journal).
