Art Students Craft Crosses for St. Joseph of Arimathea Society Burials

Trinity art students, under the direction of Mr. Jimmy Serochi, created crosses for the St. Joseph of Arimathea Society.

Helping provide dignified burials for those in Louisville who were homeless or impoverished. According to St. Joseph of Arimathea Society moderator Ms. Karen Flipper, Trinity is adding another layer of compassion through works of art by students.

She said, “It was (Trinity teacher) Jimmy Serochi’s idea. He thought it would be nice if his art students could craft crosses to be used at St. Joseph of Arimathea Society burials, and then to be give them to next of kin or friends in attendance. It is a lovely gesture.”
