As the day before the start of Thanksgiving break began, Trinity students, faculty and staff assembled in Steinhauser Gymnasium to hear a message of gratitude and a reminder to be thankful for blessings and the need to continue a caring spirit.
Ms. Annette Ball, chief programs officer from Dare to Care, and Trinity teacher Mrs. Holly McGuire spoke about the generosity of the Trinity community and the importance of supporting programs provided by Dare to Care to feed the hungry throughout the year.
Trinity recently donated more than $9,000 to Dare to Care, an amount, Ball said, that would provide 27,000 meals. McGuire coordinated Trinity’s Dare to Care drive.
Campus ministers Mrs. Mary Emrich and Mr. Chris Luken organized the service.
