Tapp set state records in the 50 (19.93) and 100 (43.16) freestyle and was named Most Outstanding Competitor of the meet.

Jacob Dray placed third in the 100 butterfly (49.81) and set a school record in the process.

The 200 free relay team of Luke Bunnell, Dray, Logan Thomas and Tapp finished third and set a new school record with an automatic All-American time of 1:24.35.

The 400 free relay team (Bunnell, Trent Kolter, Thomas and Tapp) also placed third in 3:10.28.

Tapp, Dray and Bunnell each scored in two individual events, while Kolter, Cole Gilkey and Thomas each scored in one.

Tapp was named First Team All-State, and Dray made the All-State Second Team.

The Rocks were led by head coach Mike Essig.  Moderator/coach Mr. Wayne Kraus said, “Overall it was an exciting end to a very successful season.”
