Trinity junior     Preston Romanov

Trinity junior Preston Romanov has been accepted to participate in the 2019 Xposure High School Journalism Workshop at Western Kentucky University, June 8-16.

Romanov, a reporter/photographer for Trinity’s ECHO and Shamrock staffs, was notified of his acceptance into the prestigious workshop by Mr. Chuck Clark, director of student publications at WKU.

Only 12 applicants from throughout Kentucky and neighboring states are selected for the Xposure workshop.

Clark’s notification to Romanov included the following: “Thanks, and congratulations! By being part of Xposure, you join a family of alumni and mentors with deep roots in some of the best news organizations in the nation — The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Associated Press and USA Today, to name just a few. Many more are in business, law, public relations and other professions. That network can be helpful to you for years to come.”

Romanov will serve as editor in chief for the ECHO/Shamrock staffs in 2019-20.
