The St. Joseph of Arimathea Society — Dignity for All

ECHO Staff

Students and faculty members of the St. Joseph of Arimathea Society work to recognize the dignity of all people by serving as pallbearers at the burials of people in Louisville who were homeless or otherwise economically impoverished. Trinity’s chapter, moderated by Mr. Mike Domzalski and Mrs. Betsy deGolian, attended the burial of Raymond Thomas Lewis on Sept. 12.

According to Domzalski, “The services are run through the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.   This powerful ministry affirms the inherent dignity all human beings possess…The burials take place at Meadowview Cemetery off Dixie Highway.”
