Head coach Patrick Fleming and the region champion wrestling Rocks placed sixth out of 100 high schools in the KHSAA State Championship tournament, held in Lexington over the weekend.

Trinity junior Ty Lehman won the individual state championship in the 145-pound weight class, completing his season with a 44-6 record.

The sixth-place finish by the Rocks was the team’s highest placement at state since 2016.  No other school from metro Louisville finished in the top 12 at state.

With most Trinity wrestlers returning next year, the future is bright.
