Trinity golfers won a second consecutive Region Six championship, 300-304 over runner-up St. Xavier.  Oldham County claimed third place in the match, played on a rainy, windy day at Nevel Meade. Christian Academy and North Oldham tied for fourth.

The Rocks’ Peyton Bonny tied Oldham County’s Evan Beery for second (72), one shot behind winner Drew Wallace from North Oldham. The tournament was directed by assistant coach Pat Heitz.

The other Rocks region champs were Michael Long, Charlie Morgan, Andreas Olsen and Ben Wulkopf.

Trinity, under head coach James Chaney, will compete in the state championship on Oct. 6-7 at Bowling Green County Club.
