Trinity sophomore Krish Gupta was recognized by the American Chemical Society of Louisville for his outstanding science fair project Apr. 13.

The special award was presented by ACS President Fr. Patrick Dolan for Krish’s First Place in Biochemistry at the Louisville Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

His project, “Plasticizers: The Effects of Phthalates (DEHP) vs. Biological Substitute (DOTP) on Aquatic Biota,” also placed second at the state competition.

Trinity science teacher Mr. Patrick Heintz, who provided Krish with materials for the project, congratulated Krish “for an excellent project and representing Trinity High School locally and beyond.”
