At this early point in the season, the soccer Rocks are 2-1-1, knocking off Oldham County and Atherton, tying Evansville Memorial, and falling to Ryle 2-1.

Head coach Dale Helfrich stated on the Rocks athletics website: “We are very excited to get playing again under somewhat ‘normal’ conditions. The team looks to have a large returning senior class  and a terrific group of underclassmen that should help carry much of the load against an always very competitive schedule. How quickly the team can settle into their roles and become a functional working unit will determine how successful we can be this season, but we are cautiously optimistic and are looking forward to the challenges and the season ahead.”

Senior Rudy Garcia said, “My teammates and I are very excited to get back on the pitch this summer and continue the job we started last year. Although the team experienced many growing pains last year, the team persevered and gained a new sense of brotherhood among one another. This year, my teammates and I are ready to tackle a new season and new challenges together as we look to compete to bring the championship home this year.”
