The Rocks had plenty of reasons to be proud as the annual Shamrock Awards Luncheon kicked off Pride Week. Hundreds attended the luncheon, held Sept. 19 in The Galt House East Suite Tower Grand Ballroom.

Trinity President Dr. Rob Mullen described the event: “The largest number of students in recent memory were honored. Thanks go to Academic Services and the Alumni Office for making it happen. The highlight of the day was the speech given by Dr. Benny Klausing ’02, an alumnus and infectious disease doctor at Baptist East. His remarks were poignant and impactful.”

Among those honored at the event were National Merit Semifinalists, Shamrock Award recipients, Steinhauser Scholars, and members of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club.
