‘A Place Like No Other’

A+Place+Like+No+Other

Trinity is a place like no other. Over my four years at Trinity High School, I have grown and developed more than I could have ever imagined. I have not only grown physically but also mentally. Trinity has prepared me for college and life in general. Trinity was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

I have played baseball for Trinity for four years, and I have loved every moment of it. I have gained friends through playing baseball, meeting people I otherwise probably would never have met.

Everyone has different experiences at Trinity, but they all have one thing in common — the bond that the Senior Class has as a group. Over the four years at Trinity, the bond slowly builds into an incredible connection. This connection is especially grown on senior retreat, where peers embrace and support each other.

From that moment on, the brotherhood was established.

Even though everyone has a different story, there is always someone who can relate to you. These connections lead to amazing friendships that will last for a lifetime. I am one of the people that has grown through these friendships.

On my retreat, I thought I knew a lot of people, but I soon realized that I didn’t truly know them.  I was able to quickly relate to my fellow seniors. You could see the brotherhood that comes from Trinity because after everyone shared their stories, they were instantly greeted with hugs and words of support.  From that moment on, the brotherhood was established.

I continue to stay in touch with my fellow seniors, whether it is in the classroom, on the court for our intramural games or on the baseball diamond.

This has been the best year of school I could have ever imagined. It has been filled with so many fun memories, and more will come. There are still many events left in my senior year.

The year started a little scary with some concerns about how to have in-person classes. Soon after school started, my baseball season began. In the fall, we just had practice and some scrimmages.

My favorite part of the fall was going to the Trinity football games with my friends. This year, I was able to stand at the fence, which was a lot of fun — being in the front and starting chants. Now we are in the midst of the basketball postseason, which is also fun.

I have loved my class schedule this year. It is a mix of challenging classes and fun classes. Overall, just being with my friends day in and day out is all I could ask for.
