Q: What do you enjoy most about working in the Athletics Office?

A: In my 21 years in this position, I have had the opportunity to work with the most incredible people — from athletic directors to coaches to the athletes. That makes this job very rewarding.

Q: Why did you decide to work in athletics? 

A: When this position became available, I had been working in the corporate world and was looking for a new challenge. Although I wasn’t familiar with the day-to-day running of an athletic department, I was familiar with athletics, having two sons and a husband involved in playing and coaching sports. I interviewed with (previous Director of Athletics) Coach Dennis Lampley, and the rest is history.

Q: What is the toughest part of your job?

A: The most challenging part of this job is being able to juggle all the sports within their seasons.

Q: What advice would you give to those wanting a career in athletics administration?

A: I think you need to be a good listener and communicator — and be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.

Q: What is your favorite memory of your time at Trinity?

A: My favorite memory of Trinity was during my son’s senior year. We attended mass in the Chapel every day at 7:20 to start the day.

Q: Why is Trinity important to you?

A: Trinity has a special place in my heart.  My husband, two sons, two brothers and brother-in-law are all graduates.  My father-in-law was the football team doctor for over 30 years. We have been a part of Trinity in several different ways, but working here with the amazing people makes it feel like home.
