Trinity senior Ben McBride won the state championship in Congressional Debate in the House of Representatives.  The Rocks competed in the Kentucky District (State)

Tournament for the National Speech and Debate Association, held at Centre College this past weekend.

McBride qualified for the nationals, and also earned alternate status in International Extemporaneous Speaking and Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking.  He has decided to compete in Domestic Extemp at the nationals, which will take place in Phoenix in June.

Trinity speech and debate head coach Amy Zuccaro was named District Coach of the Year and will be in contention for National Coach of the Year.
