Archery Rocks Region 4 Runner-Up and Top Eight in State

Rocks archery made great strides this year by bringing home a second in Region 4 and an eighth in the KHSAA state tournament. Head coach Jim Hanson, assistant coach Rob Staley and assistant coach Steve Sampson, led a team that included 20 seniors.

The Rocks also finished 17th in the national NASP tournament. Freshman Matt Brown shot a personal best 291 and garnered a no. 1 ranking among freshmen in the state.

At state, the Rocks were led by Jasper Staley (290 out of 300), Joseph Eng (284), Leo McAllister (283), Thomas Meyer (280), Connor Racculia (277) and Charlie Hanson (275).
