Led by second-year head coach Chet Allen and moderator Mr. Shayne Hull, the tennis Rocks have racked up a 5-2 record, with wins over North Oldham, Collegiate, CAL, Owensboro Catholic and KCD.  Losses came against Louisville and Cincy St. Xavier.

Allen expressed his enthusiasm on the team’s Athletics page: “Trinity tennis is looking forward to a solid season! We have a great freshman class coming in with returning upperclassmen from last year’s team. With this group of freshmen, I believe it will even out our team and help us compete at a high level. We are going to have a strong schedule this year, which will help improve our individual skillset and make us better players, better competitors, and a better team.”

Senior Niko Jones was equally excited about the team’s prospects: “I’m very excited for this upcoming tennis season! We have a good team this year featuring a solid returning cast along with some great new players. We’ve been working hard this offseason and we feel like we’re going to have a chance to compete for a state title! I can’t wait to leave everything on the court with my teammates and our goal is to become state champions!”
