With the release of her long-awaited third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, Billie Eilish is back on tour—and as an artist and performer, she’s better than ever. Kicking off the world tour in Quebec City this past September and planning to wrap it up in Dublin, Ireland, in July 2025, Eilish has a staggering 81 shows scheduled across North America, Oceania, and Europe.
In 2017, singer-songwriter Billie Eilish broke the internet when she and her brother FINNEAS released the now-iconic single “Ocean Eyes” on YouTube. The track was soon followed by her fan-favorite 2017 EP, Don’t Smile at Me. Since her debut, Eilish has built an impressive discography, including three studio albums: When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Happier Than Ever, and Hit Me Hard and Soft. As her popularity continues to soar, Eilish has also become no stranger to accolades. With the continued release of new music and growing popularity, Eilish has become no stranger to awards. At only age 22, Eilish has taken home nine Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, twenty Guinness World Records, seven MTV Video Music Awards, three Brit Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Academy Awards. Clearly she has made a name for herself in the music industry.
Known for her thought-provoking yet relatable lyricism and catchy beats, it’s hard not to find a song to
sing or dance along to. Fans of Eilish’s music have enjoyed over the years seeing the singer branch out of her usual somber tones and experiment with some more fun and uplifting tracks such as the break-up pop anthem “Happier Than Ever” or the standout track from her new album, “Birds of a Feather”. The new music, larger budget, and growth as a performer, set Eilish up for success with her latest tour promising a night full of fun, laughter, and good music.
Contrary to her past tours, Eilish chose to use a 360º stage that allows her to interact with fans from every direction. After the opening act, as the audience buzzed with anticipation, the lights dimmed, and the stage was prepared for Eilish. A giant cage was lowered from the ceiling onto the center of the stage. All the lights go out and lasers that match the blue color theme of the latest album filled the arena, while the stage and cage are revealed to be a giant screen able to project anything from nature scenes to the faces of those in the crowd. The music intensified and before the crowd knew it, Eilish was standing atop of the cage and asking the crowd to sing along to one of her catchiest songs “Chihiro.” Immediately after “Chihiro” was finished, the intro to “Lunch” began, and the crowd went crazy. Red lasers and spotlights were used to capture the mood of the song, and the giant screens present make it impossible to miss a moment no matter how close or far fans are from the stage.
After jumping around the stage and hyping her fans up, at every one of her shows she quiets the arena to do a quick check in making sure everyone is having a good time and shares how grateful for is for the support of her fans. After her check-in, Eilish went right back into the swing of things by hopping onto a platform which was lifted into the air, making those even in the farthest seats feel close to the singer. Eilish transitioned from the platform and throughout her 90-minute concert showcased to the audience her harmonizing skills along with her guitar skills, both acoustic and electric.
During the performance of “Your Power”, Eilish demanded the attention of the audience sitting center-stage on a wooden stool with nothing but an acoustic guitar and a microphone. After calming the audience with some of her softer songs, Eilish quickly had every fan back on their feet when she began shredding the electric guitar while jumping around stage for her performance of “Happier Than Ever.” The effects of the show were truly something: fire bursting out of the stage throughout the show, as well as the stage becoming part of whatever song was being performed. For her final song of the night, Eilish left the audience on a sweet note with a fun and uplifting performance of “Birds of a Feather” that was accompanied by confetti being launched down on the audience from the ceiling and filling the arena. Eilish created a wonderful show for both her die-hard fans and simple concert goers and is sure to be a night to remember for those who were lucky enough to attend.
