GOLF

* The varsity golf team defeated North Oldham by a score of 146-157 on Aug. 29, and the JV golfers eeked out a 170-171 victory over the Mustangs.

* Both the JV and varsity teams emerged with wins against Eastern High School. The varsity team won 152-156, topped by Jake Mattingly’s round of 33. The JV won 165-178, led by Ryan Deeley’s low round of 39.

* The Rocks defeated Elizabethtown by a score of 138-148 at Elizabethtown Country Club on Aug. 20. James Inman and D.J. Vogt were low scorers for the Rocks, each carding a 34.

SOCCER
* The soccer Rocks will take on two programs that were ranked in the top 25 in the country last year in a tournament at St Xavier. The Rocks take on Olentangy Liberty High School out of the Cleveland area at 6:00 p.m. Aug. 30, and then square off against St Louis University High School at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 31.

* The Rocks are off to a 3-0 start, coming off an impressive 9-1 victory over Waggener on Tuesday night. Every goal was scored by a different player.
* Trinity defeated Oldham County 4-1 on Aug. 20. Scoring for the Rocks were Ryan Payne, who had two goals, and Kobie Qualah and Sam Stockton, with one goal each.
