Mr. Chris Luken is a transplant to the Louisville area and first became involved at Trinity when he began coaching cross country in 2011. He teaches theology and psychology, is a Toussaint adviser and assistant cross country coach, and plays music for all school Masses. He graduated from St. Henry District High School in Erlanger, Ky., in 2003. He attended Bellarmine University and graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree and a double major in theology and psychology and a minor in philosophy. He attended St. Meinrad School of Theology in Southern Indiana and received his master’s degree in Catholic Thought and Life in 2009 while living on a solar- and wind-powered organic produce farm. Luken was a youth minister at the Church of the Epiphany in Louisville from 2009-2012 and is still a member of the parish. He enjoys being outside, backpacking, hiking, boating, running, biking and gardening. Luken also enjoys playing guitar and listening to music. His favorite sports teams are UK, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals and, of course, Trinity.
