The Shamrock Bowling League finished its fall season last Friday. The overall winner was Team No. 2 (18-6), consisting of seniors Matt Eversole, Joe Hemme, Jacob Mattingly and Chase Donohue. The High Game Actual trophy was won by Donohue, who bowled a 258. He also won the Most Improved Bowler trophy by improving his average by 23 pins. The High Series Actual trophy was taken by Mattingly, who bowled a 401 for two games. Sophomore Conor Minogue took the High Game with Handicap trophy by rolling a 217, and senior Michael Gesler grabbed the High Series with Handicap trophy by rolling a 388 for two games. The No-Tap tournament was won by Donohue, who rolled a 531 for two games. The second-place finisher in the No-Tap competition was sophomore Justin Wiech, who bowled a 473 for two games. The two won certificates for free games at Ten Pin Lanes. Trinity teacher Dr. Tom Zehnder, intramural bowling moderator, and Ralph Gronefeld of Ten Pin Lanes thanked the bowlers. The spring season will begin Jan. 6.
