You may know that Mr. Zoeller is our principle, but did you know where he started his teaching career? How about where he went to High School or what he likes to do in his free time? There is no doubt Mr. Zoeller is an interesting man with an interesting background. Mr. Zoeller has been teaching at Trinity for close to seventeen years. At Trinity, he has taught English, Religion, and Film Study. He was an activities moderator, Tennis coach, Gulf coach, and swimming moderator as well. “He does his job sufficiently and is a great leader,” says Trinity junior Ryan Krupp. Mr. Zoeller has been at Trinity a long time. No one would ever guess that he attended that High School on Poplar Level Road. “Everyone makes mistakes,” he says with a smile about attending St. X. Fellow teachers and students “poked fun” at Zoeller for the first couple of years but they know now that he firmly enjoys beating St. X in every sport. After graduating from St. X, Mr. Zoeller attended Eastern Kentucky University and The University of Louisville. He became a teacher in England for a year and then moved to Florida where he taught for four years. After attending Eastern Kentucky University, he taught in England for a year. “I like working in an educational community,” says Mr. Zoeller. He decided to move back home to Louisville where he applied for a teaching position at several different High Schools including Trinity. Ms. Mary Ann Snyder, an administrative assistant, has now been at Trinity for eight years. “He keeps everyday exciting in Academic Services and makes us laugh,” she says about Mr. Zoeller. “He is a witty and compassionate man with a dry sense of humor.” Mr. Zoeller likes to read all kinds of books and stay in shape. He rides his bike often and lifts weights three or four days a week. “He seems like a pretty reasonable guy,” said Ross Finney, A senior at Trinity. “He’s conscious about his work.” Mr. Zoeller also likes to fish and gulf when he has the time. Mr. Zoeller is married with three kids, the oldest of which is a freshman at Trinity. “I’m not in charge at home, my wife and daughters are,” he jokes about his family. Mr. Zoeller is the sixth principle at Trinity and enjoys his job. He is a hard-worker and smart person. He encourages students to take advantage of all Trinity has to offer.
